The tweet was quickly deleted and V Festival have since tweeted a poster of the confirmed performers so far, which include Craig David, Ellie Goulding, Pete Tong’s Ibiza Classics Orchestra, Busted, James Arthur, Ellie Goulding, Jess Glynne, Stormzy, Sean Paul, Dizzee Rascal and Jason Derulo.
The show will mark P!nk‘s first performance in the UK in four years since her Truth About Love tour in April 2013. The star has been working on her film career as well as raising her two children.
Jay Z has been busy expanding Tidal which he bought in 2015 and recently became the first rapper to be inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. This will be the first time that Jay Z will have headlined V Festival.
V Festival will take place on 19th and 20th August in Chelmsford, Essex and at Weston Park in Staffordshire. Tickets go on sale from 9am on Friday 3rd March via Ticketmaster.
