Ed Sheeran has been touring for the past 6 weeks and he even admitted that he couldn’t wait to perform back home in the UK.
Ed‘s tour has completely sold out so if you have been luckily enough to grab yourself a ticket then be prepared to be blown away.
The star took to the stage opening with one of his latest tracks ‘Castle On The Hill‘, the sell out Geordie crowd were in the palm of his hand from the very first note.
One of the highlights of the night was a track which Ed performed early on in his set, the crowd went crazy as he started to play his huge hit track ‘Don’t‘ however mid way through he launching into ‘New Man‘ from his latest album ‘Divide‘. The combination of both tracks was genius as both tracks fitted perfectly together.
There wasn’t a single track in Ed‘s set that the crowd weren’t singing along too. For the full show, Ed was just captivating from the minute he stepped onto the stage until the minute the House Lights came on at the end of the show.
The amount of work that goes into the looping of certain parts of his tracks as well as his vocals in front of a sell out crowd, is just outstanding. If you have never seen Ed on stage, you may worry how the star would manage to sell out Arena‘s across the world, well the answer is simple…. Ed Sheeran is one of the most talented musicians currently around in the Industry.
The set list included tracks from all three of Ed‘s albums and included ‘A-Team‘, ‘You Need Me, I Don’t Need You‘, ‘ I’m A Mess‘, ‘Bloodstream‘, ‘Photograph‘, ‘Thinking Out Loud‘, ‘Don’t‘ and ‘Sing‘.
The majority of the set listing included tracks from Ed‘s latest album ‘Divide‘ these included ‘Eraser‘, ‘Castle On The Hill‘, ‘Dive‘, ‘Shape Of You‘, ‘Perfect‘, ‘Happier‘, ‘New Man‘, ‘How Would You Feel (Paean)‘ and ‘Nancy Mulligan‘.
