Baby Blue - FireflyFirst up its South London artist Baby Blue, as she is affectionately known. She first started rapping while at school, when friends decided to form a group and needed a female voice. Although she originally wanted to become an actress, being a part of the group inspired her to start writing songs.

After being invited to record at Raw Materials studio, Blue recorded a solo track called ‘I Woulda‘, which was inspired by her cousin’s gang-related death in the US. The track was given to various DJs and received a great amount of support and airplay. Since then she has become un-stoppable within the scene. She has since released 2 successful mixtapes (Out Of The Blue; Vol 1 & Vol 2) and is currently working on her debut album to be released later this year.

This month she released a free Mixtape to showcase how she has developed as an artist over the years as her previous release was in 2005. The mixtape also features artists J2K, Scorcher, Naye & Tee.
