Around 40 million US viewers watched as British Songstress Adele became the bigger winner of the 2012 Grammy Awards held in Los Angeles. The Grammy Awards came less than 24 hours after pop legend Whitney Houston sadly passed away.
It was also Adele’s much anticipated comeback performance since her throat surgery last year. Picking up a Grammy for every category nominated, the singer received a standing ovation for her performance of ‘Rolling in the Deep‘.
Adele is still said to be taking in her massive success at the Grammys and also the fact that she became the sixth act in history to win all three top awards – Record, Song and Album of the Year.
Rumours have also been heard that Adele is due to have a five year break to concentrate on her relationship wth her boyfriend, however the popstar herself has rubbished these claims and said that’s not the case.
