BBC Radio 1 are known for big announcements and hugely supporting acts and this morning was no different. Radio 1′s saviour Chris Moyles announced the numerous acts that have been confirmed for BBC Radio 1′s Hackney Weekend.
The biggest event to be hosted by BBC Radio 1 is to be held on 23-24 June 2012 in Hackney, which is to mark the London 2012 Olympics due to commence one month later. Applicants are being asked to upload a photograph of themselves to complete the process. Big Weekend rules still apply and registering does not guarantee a ticket. All applicants that have been successful will be notified.
