Earlier this year reports and rumours that UK boy band JLS were going to bring out a 3D film have now been confirmed by the X Factor boy band.

Band members Aston Merrygold and Marvin Humes have confirmed the reports. Aston Merrygold tells TV show This Morning, “Yes, (we are making a film) of the tour so you’re going to see everything backstage”, while his band mate Marvin Humes adds, “There’s a movie part to it too.”

The 3D film recorded at the group’s London o2 sold out shows at a weekend in January earlier this year and is now set to be released this Summer. The 3D film thought to be similar to Justin Bieber’s 3D film Now Or Never will feature behind the scenes footage from the shows, interviews and close up on stage performances including their latest UK hit ‘Eyes Wide Shut’ with special guest appearance from the double Brit Award winner Tinie Tempah.

The director, Grant Calton from Omniverse Vision said: “This will allow fans to get right in the middle of the action from the comfort of a cinema seat.” in the Daily Star Newspaper.
