Having been pre-ordered in July 2011, Maverick Sabre‘s debut album finally arrived today. Due for release on 6th February 2012, I can honestly say that the wait has been well worth it.

Lonely Are The Brave‘ is Maverick’s debut album and is full of songs featuring his soulful and unique voice. From the minute I heard Maverick singing on Chris Moyles Marathon show, his voice give me goosebumps and after listening to the album – the goosebumps are still there.

His voice has such a timeless sound to it, the kind that you will be hearing for many years to come. Artists like Wretch 32, Chipmunk and Chase & Status are all backing Maverick Sabre for having such an amazing voice.

Tracks on the album include singles ‘I Need‘, ‘Let Me Go‘ and the brand new single ‘No One‘. There are also tracks that I have come to listen to on repeat after buying on iTunes, these include ‘Sometimes‘ and ‘I Can Never Be‘. New tracks are equally as good including ‘Open My Eyes‘ and ‘I Used To Have It All‘.

If you have ever seen Maverick Sabre live, then no doubt you will have heard quite a few of the songs that are on the album, however to me this doesn’t matter! Every track is just as amazing as the last one.

Maverick Sabre is one of the best new artists around right now and with a voice that will be around for many years to come. It may only February but this album is possibly the best album of the year so far!!
