THE VOICE OPEN MIC TRY OUT CANCELLED
An open mic try out for the BBC talent show The Voice were reportedly cancelled in Birmingham yesterday.
The reason for the cancellation was due to lack of interest with only five people supposedly showing up.
Scouts from the BBC Show were due to attend an open mic night to find singers that could be invited for the nationwide auditions in August and September.
The BBC later stated that the open mic night was not an official audition and was organised by a local business man. However, they did confirm that more than 25,000 people had already applied for the talent show.
The Voice are currently yet to comment on the line up for the judges for the second series of the show. Yet it is rumoured that Tom Jones and Jessie J will not be returning for another series.
Tom Jones is said to have stated that he will only sign a contract if he knows who his fellow judges will be. Whereas, Jessie J will have tour commitments which are said to clash with the filming of the show.
