Yes, it’s that time again – IT’S THE BRIT AWARDS 2012 !!!
Hosted again by the amazing James Corden in the two hour award ceremony sponsored by MasterCard.
Coldplay were given the honour of kicking off the Brit festivities to get the crowd in the O2 and the audience at home in the mood.
Tributes were paid to both Whitney Houston and Amy Winehouse who live on through their music. Both tributes were a mixture of photos and snippets of their music. To be honest both artist deserved more than the tributes that were put together as they looked very last minute. Considering the Grammy’s managed to honour Whitney Houston with an outstanding performance from Jennifer Hudson less than 24 hours after Whitney passed away.
Adele was back to her best with her first british performance since her throat surgery last year and wowed the crowd with ‘Rolling in the Deep‘. Other performances included Florence & The Machine, Noel Gallaghers High Flying Birds, Rhianna, Bruno Mars and Olly Murs featuring Rizzle Kicks.
Ed Sheeran gave an outstanding performance of ‘Lego House‘ and showed that you don’t need to have a big production to show how much talent you have.
